1. Maintainer & Ownership

This website (mesh.desdechipiona.es) and its associated services (PotatoMesh, MeshView, ingestion pipelines, and MQTT broker) constitute a personal, free, non-profit community project initiated and maintained by Raúl Caro Pastorino (@raupulus).

The project engages in zero commercial activity: it does not market goods or services, charges no fees, and collects no financial donations.

2. Purpose

To document and support the citizen LoRa Meshtastic radio mesh network across Cádiz and Andalusia through open tools: maps, telemetry benchmarks, link analysis, activity rankings, automated alert bots, public APIs, and hardware configuration tutorials.

3. Conditions of Use

  • Access to the website and public APIs is free and unrestricted for the entire community without requiring account registration. Access to /admin is restricted exclusively to authorized technical maintainers.
  • Users agree to act in good faith: not attempting unauthorized access, respecting public API rate limits (60 req/min), and refraining from using mesh information to harass, stalk, or infringe upon personal rights.
  • Gateway credentials are issued for legitimate mesh monitoring. The maintainer reserves the right to suspend any gateway transmitting spoofed, malicious, or destructive telemetry.
  • As a voluntary community service, any feature may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Not an Emergency Service: Experimental community radio and this portal under no circumstances replace official civil protection or rescue services. Packet delivery is not guaranteed. In emergencies, call 112.
  • Data As-Is: Radio data is captured directly over the air and displayed as received: it may be incomplete, delayed, or imprecise.
  • Informative Alerts: Anomaly notifications are generated automatically by rule heuristics and do not imply negligence on the part of node operators.
  • Radio Regulations: Individual station owners remain solely responsible for operating in compliance with legal 868 MHz ISM regulations, maximum effective radiated power (ERP), and duty cycle limits.

5. Independent Project

Andalucía Mesh is an independent grassroots initiative without corporate affiliation, employment relationship, or official endorsement from the Meshtastic project or hardware vendors.
