≤ 20%: clear channel
20% – 40%: busy channel
≥ 40%: saturated channel

How we calculate each province's saturation: Using GPS coordinates we gather all nodes situated within the province; we compute average channel utilization for routers on one hand and all CLIENT and CLIENT_BASE nodes together on the other; then we weigh them: routers 60% and CLIENT/CLIENT_BASE 40%. CLIENT_MUTE nodes are excluded as they tend to be indoor or less visible, skewing readings lower. Only the most recent reading per node in the last 12 hours is used.

Node counts and load per province table (accessible alternative)
Province Nodes % Total Saturation Status
Almería 1 10 % 18.5 % Clear
Cádiz (Focus) 2 20 % — No data
Córdoba 1 10 % — No data
Granada 0 0 % 7.4 % Clear
Huelva 2 20 % — No data
Jaén 1 10 % 15.4 % Clear
Málaga 2 20 % 12.5 % Clear
Sevilla 1 10 % 3.2 % Clear
* Additionally, 18 nodes heard from our gateways are located outside Andalusia.

Configure your node

With these radio parameters your device hears the network without saturating the spectrum. The vast majority of nodes in Spain use this manual narrowband preset:

Region EU_868
Use preset (Predefined) Disabled (for custom fields)
Bandwidth · SF · CR BW 62 (62.5 kHz) · SF7 · CR4/5
Frequency slot / Override Slot 4 (o 869.618 MHz)
Primary channel (0) SFNarrow (PSK key AQ==)
Hop limit Recommended 3–4 hops (5 for CLIENT_MUTE or edge locations)
Suggested role CLIENT_MUTE for most personal nodes; CLIENT if installed outdoors with clear line of sight

Upload your node data

If your node has internet access (WiFi, Ethernet, or mobile phone app), it can act as a gateway by uploading what it hears over the radio to our server for maps and metrics. Uplink only: no internet traffic is ever repeated back to the radio spectrum.

Check your node configuration

Quickly verify if your LoRa node complies with the official regional SFNarrow network parameters in Andalusia, detect configuration conflicts, and optimize your link.
