Groups & Channels Active

Telegram Bot

Receive instant alerts in groups and channels, or query mesh health and telemetry via private direct message.

Open @AndaluciaMesh_bot on Telegram ↗

In a group

  1. Add @AndaluciaMesh_bot as a member.
  2. The bot will greet the group and post alerts with standard filters.
  3. Group admins can customize subscriptions using /levels and /types.

In a channel

  1. Add the bot as an administrator with post messages permission.
  2. An admin sends the setup command (e.g. /levels medio alto). The bot applies it and deletes the command to keep the channel clean.

In private chat

Send private messages to run /status, /battery, and /routers. No automated alerts are pushed to private chats to avoid noise.

To remove: Remove or ban the bot from the group or channel. It detects removal and cancels subscriptions instantly.
Community Servers Coming Soon

Discord Bot

Community integration for Discord servers with thread alerts, dedicated channels, and rich embed cards.

⏳ In development: The Discord bot is currently undergoing load testing and validation. Public invites will be available shortly.

Server setup

  1. Open the invite link and select your target server.
  2. In the desired alert channel, a member with permissions types /subscribe.
  3. Configure channel-specific filters using /levels and /types.

Multiple channels

You will be able to enable multiple channels on the same server (e.g. one for critical alerts only, and another for all activity).

To remove: Run /unsubscribe in the channel or kick the bot from the server.

Default Filters & Customization

Each channel or group maintains independent filter preferences. By default, newly joined groups start with:

Default risks
alto
Moderate and severe incidents
Default types
infraestructura
Repeaters and backbone nodes only

Practical recommendations:
• To receive all alerts: /levels bajo medio alto y /types infraestructura clientes.
• For critical-only channels: /levels alto.

Live Alert Example

Clean, concise notification structure emitted when a detection rule triggers:

🔴 ALTO · Infraestructura · Bucle de reinicio !3a8f1c04 (Cádiz-Repetidor-Norte) · ROUTER · Cádiz !3a8f1c04 se ha reiniciado 7 veces en la última hora https://mesh.desdechipiona.es/alertas/alt-90412
🔵 🟠 🔴 ✅ Immediate Severity

The leading icon shows state: blue (low), orange (medium), red (high), and green checkmark (resolved).

🧵 Threaded Updates

If an alert changes risk level or resolves, the bot replies to the original message to keep the conversation clean.

📍 Location Privacy

Only the province is mentioned. Precise GPS coordinates and operator private data are never published.

🛡️ Anti-Burst Control

If an incident affects multiple nodes at once, it is aggregated into a single summary message with a link.

🔇

Spam-Free Channels

The bot applies channel rate-limiting, bundles rapid rule bursts, and only renotifies if an alert changes severity.
